Dreamgirl, Jennifer Hudson was destined for stardom and as with all personal climbs jealously can sometimes rare its ugly head to try to demoralize the climber. Tragedy can also serve to remind us how fragile life is and keep us grounded as we make the rise out of humble, impoverished circumstances to awesome new heights.
Not knowing Jennifer personally, we can only surmise about her emotional state and what her heart monitor really reads for her lovers. It has been reported on CNN that the shooting of her brother, mother and later her nephew has been over some domestic violence situation.
Having been made aware of an ex-boyfriend, James Payton that she's known since 1999 to only very recently who was her dead brother's best friend, it begs the question: was this a crime of passion or a lover spurn? Perhaps, this has nothing to do with Jennifer at all and maybe a matter of street cred or another incidence of youth gang violence at its worse.
For Jennifer, it's a deadly blow to her emotionally at a time when she has worked very hard and did all the right things to put her own life on track. She elevated herself from working at Burger King to landing a job on Disney Wonder cruise, Calliope in Hercules, a Muse-ical Comedy that she kept for six months as a personal test to her readiness for American Idol.
Since her April 2004 bottom three appearance on American Idol with LaToya London and Fantasia Barrino that set off a media firestorm and Hudson being sent home; she felt that she was robbed and perhaps it was meant to be because she felt that she was the most talented of the three finalists. This was a dreamgirl's passion; her recent weight loss and svelte body is testament to her commitment to look sexy and have the opportunity to model gorgeous Valentino dresses.
Jennifer Hudson can only seek counseling to deal with this latest hand that she's been dealt and seek to heal these latest deep wounds. Life has given you a handful of lemons so to Jennifer - get out your pitcher and make as much lemonade as you can and dry up your tears.
